St Mary’s Catholic School could not accomplish our mission without the dedicated service of many volunteers. Thank you! We welcome and encourage all parents and parishioners to volunteer in the following areas.
Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO)
Our PTO is responsible for countless school activities and initiatives: hosting our annual Fall Festival and "Trunk-or-Treat", providing funds for class supplies and trips, running school fundraisers, serving as class parents, organizing Catholic Schools Week activities, and coordinating social events. We encourage all parents to join our PTO and be actively involved at St Mary's! For more information please click here.
Field Trip & Class Activity Chaperones
Often times, our teachers rely on their classroom parents to provide transportation for students for field trips or to serve as chaperones on class trips or during other fun activities. All parents interested in being field trip drivers or class chaperones must complete the necessary Safe Environment paperwork as indicated below. Parents who are interested in these roles are encouraged to complete all necessary paperwork at the start of the school year as it can take several weeks to process.
Cafeteria
Our cafeteria lunches are served by teams of volunteers who commit to serving each month on the day a particular menu is assigned. This is a great way to help our school and get to know everyone! For more information, please contact the Dining Room Manager.
St Mary's Gala
Held annually during the Spring semester, the St Mary's Gala is a wonderful opportunity for parents, grandparents, families, faculty, and staff to come out for an evening of fun, food, and music in support of our school. St Mary's Classic Golf Tournament
Help raise funds for repairs and capital improvements at St. Mary’s—and join us for an energized event! The last Friday of May each year is our annual St Mary's Classic Golf Tournament! Safe Environment
Before serving in the school, all volunteers are required to complete Safe Haven training and the appropriate background checks. For more information, please contact the Safe Environment Coordinator.
